Christmas on the North Coast

Difficult to get in the spirit this year. Maybe cause of all the health issues last 12 months. Kids now calling this Capt the "Miracle Man".

Attended 1st of 3 Christmas gatherings yesterday. Wifes family who see just annually. Shocked at the aging of some since last year.

Weathers been up and down. 8 degrees yesterday morning. Plowed out 2x times so far.

Finally made black walnut cookies from commercial packaged and hand picked nuts from TN. Bit of finger stainin but ... its a "Labor of Love."

Natural gas bill for Dec. = $157 (temp set at 75), gasoline = $3.17, eggs = $4.49 - $4.99.

Takin the squeeze out tonight to view Christmas lights, exchange gifts, light up the fireplace, cookies and egg nog or cocoa and a puzzle.

Christmas Eve = w/ squeezes family. Christmas Day = w/ this Capt's family.

To all here...a very Merry Christmas and a Trumpian New Year!! May your holidays be memorable spent w/ whats most important...family and friends.
