Beautiful Day here... Low 50's. Would be a perfect fishing day but the wifes got me doing the Christmas Decorations. Believe it or not, I pulled about 20 Cherry Peppers off my plants last weekend. Finally done the with garden. They finally lifted the burn ban here but way too windy for my comfort. Have to wait for another day. Been reading the fishing reports... Not much going on this way except the occasional keeper Tautog. If I get the weather to cooperate, I can Yak fish for Tog off the breakwaters but its been too windy every weekend. When the Stripers make it down this way they tend to go out beyond the 3 mile limit. Lots of guys troll the near shore sholes. Most without much luck. Sometimes the stripers show up in Carova around the New Year. If I get a reliable report and the weather cooperates, I'll load up the yak and head down. Gas $2.80 (Reg.) here. Looks like the Trump win is already starting to pay dividends. Everyone stay safe.
