All buttoned up for winter.
1st snow this AM. Sticking to lawns.
Grocery prices continue elevated. Turkeys as low as 39 cents lb. Bakery continues to climb. Don't see any of the "declining prices" mentioned in news.
Buying "Turkey" decorated cakes for 2 dinner invites on Thanksgiving.
Decided to bake black walnut cookies. Sparce here this year, but sister supplied bags of 2023/24 from her property in Knoxville.
Gas fluctuating daily 2.76 - $2.89. Needed Hi Test for Spyder...$3.79!!!
Can't wait for illegal deportations to start. Will be a real S*** show.
Smile #1 for the week. Wheelbarrow tire flat. Reoccurring due to slow rim leak. Struggled w/ ratcheting strap to spread tire to rim to inflate. No go. Went to old trick...soapy water on rim. Voila, inflated only to find hole in tire too. Found shelved flat tire inflator can = at least 20 years old. Sealed leak right up. Lookin round for replacement, finding prices on Amazon = $38 and up...more than paid for entire wheelbarrow 10 years ago. Has poly tray, not steel. Gotta mic up axle width before ordering one. Tractor Supply and Harbor Freight = much lower prices.
Smile #2. Squeeze still wants a baby:):)
Hopin all here are able to spend time w/ family on Thanksgiving! This year we all have an election to be thankful for.
