FIRST FROST

had our first frost yesterday. killed all plants and flowers. mowing is done for this year. first time i mowed leaves instead of blowing them. liked it. just keep mowing them towards the woods, kinda mulched them and the grass looked good. first year i saw all leaves fall at the same time. i guess dry weather. garden cleaned off. going to try covering my raised beds with black poly this year. been researching that and should make it easier in spring. firewood done and under cover. only 3 cords this year. firewood is $400 to $600 a cord around here. fished pond about a week ago, they were hitting anything you threw at them. caught sun perch,crappie, and bass. saw some cats but didn't get one. suppose to get a nice rain today. need rain so hunters won't burn down the woods. prices still high on everything.
CNN in an uproar now about Trump's picks. Trump has his chance now to get rid of half of these crooks. i hope he burns them like they did him.
