The structure is usually changing due to winds/currents so the best places in the surf aren't always in the same place and I'm not sure that anyone is willing to give up any hotspots in the sound over the Internet. Best bet is to spend some time watching some videos on how to spot the holes and the rips in the surf. Fish in a spot and if it doesn't produce, move a bit. I like using spot for bait so maybe load up on some blood worms and catch a few of those and bait heavy for the bigger drum. Fishing at night is better than daytime fishing. Hope this helps.
