Currently are using the big double bladed helocopters to pick up the survivers and are going back later for the bodies, many are missing.

Reason is the roads are gone in the small towns further into the mountains that were flooded. Asheville part of interstate 40 has collapsed.

Here engineers said it shifted the highway 16 bridge at the foundation below the dam, it's the main road to Hickory. I'm guessing not fixable.
