I have a friend that works as a Police Officer at University of Pennsylvania with overlapping jurisdiction in west Philadelphia. Hadn't talked to him in a while which usually means he's busy. Apparently, the Palestinian protests are still ongoing and way worse than before. He's working 12 hrs a day, 6 days a week to try to keep them from tearing the place down. He showed me bite marks on his arm from a grown assed adult the other day where afterward, he had to go get a whole litany of vaccines, shots & blood tests as a result. He also had to go to another local University as support for a security team was completely overrun.

Anyone else find this odd that you don't hear about it in the news? Just business as usual. Nothing to see here.
