They get picky with a lot of bait in the water, a fall trick was to use finger mullet, caught and used live best or fresh from tackle shop.

For bluefish and trout but I found those drum love flounder rigs with a finger mullet so anyways thanks for the reports had been wondering.

If it's calm you might want to try a mirrolure, white grub jig or bucktail if not too grassy, the best trout night was in it on a full moon.

Catch and release, one after the other when moon was brightest at 11 o'clock postion it got even crazier was as soon as bait hit had fish on.
