Friday (6/28) Fishing Report (Delayed).

Buxton surf. 0530 - 0930 hrs. Bites every 15 seconds...same for other 4 fishermen out. Nothing caught. Must have been tiny piranhas. Saw 1 small blue caught late afternoon. Eating any bait cept artificial bloodworms. Crew on beach said they smelled petroleum product late morning. Rain after dark. Some minor street flooding by morning.

Stopped at daughters in VA Sat. Shared the space w/ dogs incl. the 4 legged FBI agent who was not muzzled whole time. Advised not to touch em as he was "anxious"! Brought home fresh eggs. Daughter can I.D. eggs insofar as which chicken laid em.

Uneventful trip back to the homestead. 1 plaza station on PA pike still had gas for $3.83!!

Crew has already booked 2 OF houses in Kitty Hawk 2 weeks for June 2025.

This Capt not expecting Rodanthe East Point house to make it till next year. Shame after 23 years there. NPS closed beach there day after we moved to Buxton.
