i saw that on facebook. the soil is what is so expensive. i put a bag (1.5 cu ft.) of compost and a bag of soil in each bed every year. i have 6 beds. it cost about $15 a bag. plants and seeds have doubled. a lot of labor and a water source. the most expense is when you first set up, beds,fence, and filling the beds. it ain't cheap and you have to want to do it. but nothing like fresh from garden. having fried yellow squash tonight. everyone have a nice 4th. be safe.
