always liked that area, from avon on down. you ever try the sound on those little paths leading into the sound. i drove down some of them but looked like you would have to wade out to fish. is Fristoe bait shop still there? many moons ago i made sure i stopped there. i'm sure the owners have passed. they were very helpful and nice people. i bought a lot of stuff there. i remember asking him about a tire pressure gauge. he said you can buy this one or you can buy this one and you won't have to buy another one. so i bought the expensive one and it is still in my truck after all these years. last time i stopped there, very disappointed. have fun on the rest of your trip.
