Wednesday Fishing Report

Buxton surf. MP 61. 0530- 0930 hrs. Hot and humid. Tide turning to high. SSE 7-10. The curse continues. Bite never stopped. While other fisherman caught blues over and over this Capt’s catch = (1) 4” pinfish. Bite continues as of this post.

Dinner at Cockeyed Clam was OK. Had bacon wrapped scallops and hush puppies as appetizers. This Capt ordered breaded bay scallops,fries,coleslaw for dinner. Rest of crew all ate from the huge stack of bay scallops and so any still brought some back to the house. Bit pricier than expected. Service fine. Spoiled brat at table nearby, screaming negatives bout everything. Out of control.

Afterwards stopped at Catch and Release pond near Diamond Shoals. Walk toward water and turtles spill out to be fed. Fish too come up to edge for food.

Last report said Rusty Surf and Turf was hit by lightening Mon. Nite. Wrong…was the Cockeyed Clam.

Park service has closed section of beach w/ house we had to abandon. Pic on-line taken Sat. No where close to how bad by Mon.
