Yur observations are "spot on" as usual.

Re: Restaurants. Done all of those cept "I Got Your Crabs" and "Spankys". I'd add Sam and Omies. So many of the good spots long gone. Know Henry's will always be sweet spot in your memory.

Re: Offshore Angler Rig. Very close to this Capt's "secret" rigs used daily. Great minds eh??:):) Built new ones 2 weeks ago w/ the crew.

Re: N/NE wind. As mentioned, fishin always been bad w/ that direction on southern beaches. Least no flies:):)

Spoke w/ daughter last nite. In Kitty Hawk rental on Fonck St. There w/ her dog and 2 FBI agents (2 legged and 4 legged.) Said hot and beach crowded. Food Lion pretty quiet. Gas under $3 coming in on 158.

Re: Shopping. Bein single these days and w/o my squeeze w/ me, don't see havin to do any of that this trip.

Tyin up loose ends, bocce and bingo (yeah laugh...even do that), prepin Pacifica van (new one - couldn't pass up the deal!) this week.

North Coast grocery and restaurant prices still thru the roof. Squeeze got gas for $3.09 yesterday. Very dry.
