Flounder Rig

It's called a flounder rig at the tackle shops same rig with a bigger sinker and I prefer a kahle hook and you can use wire or mono.

This works eventually wire gets kinked up use a strip of cut bait, squid or finger mullet .......

Usually a 4 oz or 3 oz sinker for the surf if not rough to keep it in place, 2 oz for pier .......
