House trailers on commercial lots...quite a stretch.

Pretty quiet on the North Coast cept for more frequent storm warnings. Most been skirting so is very dry.

Dodged another medical problem but the test was like putting baseball bat thru eye of a needle.

22 days till crew begins arriving in Kitty Hawk for week #1.

Over the holiday trying meat cut for 1st time = boneless beef short ribs. Braise, then 2 hours @ 350 in tight lid pot in oven w/ beef broth and finely cut carrots and onions.

Laugh of the day. This Capt stumbled across new pool toy to bedevil grandkids. Device that shoots small water encased eco friendly balls (comes w/ 10,000.) When researching found is like a paint ball gun. Need eye protection. Duh. Still may buy for here at the homestead for chipmunks and coons. They'll have to provide their own eye protection.

More laughable were it not so sad...Here at the OP community, after 20 years, new bocce court under construction. All roads to be resurfaced also. When?? Start dates unknown as Board of Governors has again signed contracts w/o start and completion dates.
