Capt D. try rig. i know everybody on here will think i'm nuts but here goes: get a round or barrel sinker that will almost hold but not quite. thread it on line. put a swivel below sinker big enough so sinker will not slide down. use about a 16 inch leader with a single hook on it. i make the leaders myself. cut bait or blood worms. i throw up current and let it slowly come back. i was catching kingfish at avon when nobody was catching nothing. caught a couple flounder too. worth a try.
