Finally, back to " Holding a tight line"

Well last Friday the doctors finally decided to operate on me in order to help clear the staf. infection which had set into my ear and jaw area. They did not want to do this but it seemed like a clean up was the only thing that would stop this nasty infection. They even placed ANOTHER tube into my ear for drainage. These secondary infections that have ravished my body since the Rocky Mountain Spotted Fever exposure have been very tough on me. On Saturday, all I did was sleep. Sunday morning I woke up at 4:30 am and felt like a new women. So I readied all my fishing equipment and made sure I had everything I needed and took the boat out and went fishing. Sure I had to place a cotton ball in my ear but I was finally going fishing and could return to "Holding a tight line". Today (Wed) I am still doing great and feel wonderful. I am planning on fishing this weekend, weather permitting. Thank you for all the emails, prayers and wishes. I have missed my Salty Board Buddies and being able to sit at the computer and write all of my Salt water, fishing and hunting articles. I can not believe that fall is just right around the corner. Fall run will be on it's way heading toward our precious "Outer Banks" very soon. Happy fishing, have wonderful vacations and "Thank You" for your friendship. Debbie
