We had a good trip down. We left at 0400 and arrived in Kitty Hawk at 0715. Traffic was steady heading South but not bad. The Roundabout was not bad and I don’t think it will be an issue. Coming off the bridge you will be on right coming into the circle and in my opinion there will be little traffic to yield to. I think the roundabout will cut off the houses to the North. Traffic coming from the South will roll right around and to the bridge. It is different but I think there will be limited traffic to yield to on your left. Gas was not as bad as I thought it would be. 3.90 to 4.19 in Buxton.

Fished Wednesday at the jetties but not much happening. Wind started from the South and flipping blew 20 plus with gust 30ish. Ocean got up and pissed with a big pull North. Once I can’t get 6oz to stay I stop fishing. We stayed out on deck at the hotel and just chilled and watched the waves. This morning the wind started to shift SSW headed NW but had to get on the road. I will say there is a heck of a whole at R32 just to North. Maybe worth a try.

We will head back in a few weeks after the BASS Open on the James River. I’ll be on the river for a few weeks. Tightlines.
