Looks like you have to come to the North Coast to shop. No shortages of paper goods. One grocery chain turkey prices (frozen - hens or toms = Honeysuckle, or boneless, 77 cents a lb.
2 frig freezers and 1 chest freezer full. Bought 31 cans of Progresso soup this week. All varieties on sale for $1.
Rain here since midnite to continue till Trick or Treat time Sunday. 1st snow forecast for 11/8.
Found reg. gas Wed. for $2.95. Most stations now $3.14 - $3.29.
Natural gas to increase by 54%.
Took older daughter and granddaughter out for lobster dinner Wed. nite. Place about 1/2 hour east. 100 lobsters available till they run out. Tiny town. Mom and pop restaurant. Annual special on Wed.'s. $20. Was line out the door and 50 minute wait to be seated.
Maybe get out after Sun. cross street and pick a few black walnuts for winter cookies.
