Found out this Capt also has a bit of hearing loss. Can't hear very faint chirpin from a smoke detector 8 ft. away.

This Capt and crew will be movin Mrs. Capt w/i next 30 days to a nursing facility. She can no longer move her legs and can barely feed herself. One of crew here every nite to tuck her in. Overnite Aides continue. Mobility is now so bad Aides and crew can sometimes not move her. She fell last week again and took Dr. son down w/ her. Younger daughter (and dog) comin in Wed. from VA to visit before the facility move.

Forecast revised this AM to 8-14" w/ blowing. Wind chills below 0 by Tues. AM. Expectin older daughter and/or overnite Aide to be stuck here Mon. nite and Tues. AM.

Plenty of food to feed em long as power doesn't go out.

Made St. Louis ribs in oven last nite wrapped tight in foil to not splatter oven door glass. 310 degrees 1 hr. 40 minutes. Then 5 minutes w/ foil open under broiler. Fat all melted away. Tender. Not as tasty as on grill but OK w/ no mess.

Last week fisherman fell thru ice at small pond about 5 miles south. Thin ice warnings were out. Some bozos just don't get it.
