I hate to hear stuff like this. I'm thinking if he was wearing waders, they probably filled up and took him under. That happened to me once while fishing in a stream. I stepped in a hole and that was it! Waders were about 1000 lbs. Water was only bout 4' deep luckily for me but I had to cut them off to get out. So sad.......
