Family reported black flies at beach in morning. No surprise there w/ any wind W or WSW here.

Cars drivin by slooooooow, scopin out potential rentals for next season. Wouldn’t be scopin here if had seen flooding last week.

12 still flooded at Salvo, Wind Over Waves development, Also on Otter Way in development. Hate to see it but big condo bein built 500 ft. south in Phase 3.

Son in law says all renters round us = Trump supporters as they have beards and tats. Hmmm, may have a point. Been no loud music, drunks, kids runnin wild, or property destruction.

Only 2 unleashed dogs on beach so far In 10 days. .

Asked NPS gal drivin beach about beach gear left on beach over nite and why she was not tagging it w/ warning tags. NPS policy is gear not allowed over nite. 1st she seemed not to know about it. When pressed she had multiple excuses as to why no enforcement. Expect by Sat. Morning a lot will be abandoned on beach.
