I'm kinda in the same way. the blue ridge mountains are about 30 plus miles east of me. I live at northern tip of va./wva in small mountains locals call north mountain. another words when you cross blue ridge heading east you are about 50 miles from Washington dc. I have about an inch of snow on ground this morning, calling for 3 inches, then freezing rain. temps now 29. everyone have a nice day and stay warm.
