I had got a jar of apple butter at the Farmers' Market in Ashville but when opened the oil was starting to go rancid so threw it out.
Not sure if it was used old or had been on the shelf for awhile. I am usually into the different hot pickles there with no problems.
Just starting here had some rainy days and chilly nights no frost yet, tonight is going to be 39 degrees I think so far is the coldest.
