Crabs running in Hatterass?

Just a few short days and i will be digging my toes into the warm sand of the Hatterass Island beach!!!! I cannot wait.

A friend told me last year when he went down that he caught ALOT of nice Blue crabs in the sound by just wading around and dip netting them. Does this work? I also know this upcoming weekend will be the Full moon which yeilds Softies ( My Favorite ) They are also great to use as bait here in MD but what about down there ? All responses are welcome and well frankly needed lol :)
