in my younger years spent many days on north fork of Shenandoah from Strasburg to Woodstock. river was clean. caught many smallmouth on madtoms and hellgrammites. also were plenty of green river perch and rock bass(goygleyes). river now polluted, damn shame. miss those days. there were no carp up that way. had some fall fish there.
