I've had the same problem this year and the tomatoes had a bitter kind of moldy taste to them, lost all my yellow cherry tomatoes.

I had some good success with it on the red cherry tomatoes by fertilizing them and not watering between the thunderstorms.

Currently having trouble with those big green tomato hornworms, just amazing how something that size can camouflage in with everything.

I also noticed those caterpillars seem to be easier to find on there in the evening.
