there is no way to nail down a date for the surf.more often than not,all you catch are dogfish.look up any reports you can get,and if you here of fish on the beach,check the forecast,and if favorable conditions persist,cone down,and take your chances.as of now we are'nt catching any stripers from the surf,or catwalk
