Pungo area report

Fished Slade Creek and Pungo river area this past week-end. Several keeper drum, one 23inches. Keeper trout. a few over 15inches were caught. But the flounder were few and far between, Caught them from 11 to 13 inches all day, with only a few over 14". Most fish hitting jigs and several undersize drum were hitting spinnerbaits. White colored baits worked best. Several trout were caught on popping cork rigs. Gulp New penny shrimp caught fish as well.
