Surviving The Storm

More like a little off and on drizzle. I agree with you about the Weather Channel, CNN covers the hurricanes too and I tend to go there. The most detailed local tv forecast is WAVY Channel 10 from Norfolk Virginia. Charter used to have a tv channel that repeated their weather forecast in a loop but they did away with it for some reason. Now you have to catch it in their evening news, about 10 to 15 minutes in at 6pm after the lastest shootings in Norfolk and before the sports wrap up at the end. I like it because they show an animated map of the wind speeds in a different colored circle as the storm moves over the place.
On the internet the coastal marine forecast is the best and I also use a battery powered weather band radio that repeats the coastal marine forecast here. Comes in real handy when everything else goes out and you want to know how much storm is left. This is the one I have below which picks up really good, I do have to hold the power button down for a second to get it to come on.
