Brown Garden Spiders

In Response To: Monday Report (Capt D)

Those brown garden spiders are starting to build their webs in the yard at night. Have you noticed any? Might be too windy there, look around the outside house lights after dark. So far they are only about dime size, should be quarter size tarantulas by the middle of August. I try to leave them alone to help with the bugs just knock the webs down where I walk. I've never been bit and have walked into plenty of webs.
