In Response To: sound fishing in July (Clark)

It's usually speckled trout at the grass beds. Sheepshead around pilings, any of them out in the sound use sand fleas for bait. Also could be red drum around the channel at Gull Island. I'd stop by Hatteras Jack in Rodanthe and find out what's been happening in the sound and where to go fishing in a boat there. I'd check out his trout rods too.
