Weekend Fishing Report *PIC*

It was a good weekend for catching fish in the sounds. On Saturday, the trout bite was awesome. I was near two other boats - each with three anglers. When the bite turned on, everybody caught limits of fat fish with multiple throwbacks. I also caught at least a dozen 14-16 inch rockfish. On Sunday morning, the bite was the same until the wind shifted direction and the current started to scream. I caught less trout but added a nice Black Drum to the mix. Most fish were caught on light tackle casting artificial baits. It looks like a good week coming up. Go fishing and catch one.
