The charter boats have been catching bluefin tuna offshore from Oregon Inlet if your interested. Dog sharks have been biting at Jennette's Pier and further south at the point in Buxton, bird closures are going up in the park. My guess is the point will get closed sometime after the holiday weekend. Might be good there if you can get a couple of days of strong winds (20-25mph) coming from the south. April 4th tends to be a good drum day at the point every year for some reason.
The ocean has been cold mid 40s, the water temps need to be staying in mid 50s for more of a variety of fish to show up in the surf. Looks like some warm water behind Pea Island, out going tide at the catwalk might be worth a try or the sound at the Bodie Lighthouse. Maybe at the little bridge on the Nags Head causeway, just some ideas for Easter weekend. You might find some speckled trout and puppy drum in those areas.
