Bout same. Blizzard conditions never materialized. Snow contractor on it by midway thru (a perk of livin in old folks community"!!)

Daughter and hubby left at beginning and made it back to FL in 20 hours.

Recollect, biggest snow was about 32", in apprx 1950. W/ drifts you couldn't see over. Great for kids. Main road was closed to all but emergency vehicles. Side streets had to be shoveled out by hand by residents.

Venturin out for dinner at older daughters tonite. Saved some additional "special" gifts for the grandchildren. They are the best kids - 16,12,11. Top grades, in sports, working, and most important w/ Christian values instilled by their parents. (Dog one of the best too. Golden lab. Big, gentle giant that loves everyone esp. the little ones.)
