Seems to be dog sharks around the beaches, yellowfin tuna and tile fish further out. My guess would be at least around the middle of December or more likely Christmas / New Years, January for schools of local stripers at Oregon Inlet. The Chesapeake Bay striper pattern has been off the NC / VA state line area middle to end of January which is easier to get to from Virginia Beach by boat, probably be some around the Chesapeake Bay Bridge Tunnel before then. Feels like maybe another mild winter on the coast, you never know.
