Big snake *PIC*

You always hear about the Cottonmouths around here but most people don't realize that we also have Canebrake Rattlesnakes - a variety of Timber Rattler. This one was found behind the Bodie Island Lighthouse by an angler. It was probably driven out of hiding by high water. This picture is "borrowed" from TW's website.
