Crabs still around?

Hey guys. I'll be down next week to work on the house and do a little fishing. My daughter wants to do some crabbing but I don't know if the water is too cold. Should I pack the traps or leave them at home? I should mention that we dont intend to crab way up there. We usually head south to collington or the little brige.

I'll also be fishing up near the Va/NC line in between fixing my fence. Stop by and say Hi.
