I had the pleasure of fishing with one of the Salty Board guys over the weekend. Paul (Diver 531), his son Matt, and his almost son-in-law Andrew. These guys were just happy to be out on the water. They must have said how happy they were to be there at least a dozen times. The weather was nice, the water was slick calm, and we caught a bunch of fish. Take a look at my report link for the whole story. The next 4-6 weeks should be outstanding fishing here at the banks. The mullet are already in the surf and trout are stacking up in the Inlet. As the tourists thin out, the fish will take their place. Enjoy your fall and I'll keep you posted on what's going on around the inlet and in the sounds.
