I haven't heard of any tarpon, the water temp has been warm enough lately. The swells are starting to come in from the storm hanging around offshore, you can see the waves from it on the piercam.

The bottom fishing could be good up close to the beach this week, the fish will be after sand fleas with the swells. Along with the shell hunting, usually the waves going almost half way up on the beach throws the conchs up in this area.

Labor Day weekend was some did and some didn't catch anything. A lot of people in the water and the biting flies and big horseflies were out one day I think Saturday when the wind was light coming out of the west.
