Corolla Surf Report

Just got back from the OBX. First half of week no luck in surf or Avalon Pier. Second half I found a deeper pool a little ways down the beach. I went as light as possible 7' rod 1oz weight, bloodworm fishbites. I started catching numerous sea mullet some up to 10". I was catching them right at the shoreline. What a blast! Caught about 30 of them the next few days.
