We had a trip on 7/18 in the evening.
We stayed in the Sound fore it was blowing a solid gale out of the Southwest making for a rough ocean here at Hatteras.
We caught a few nice Spanish Mackeral and Bluefish trolling in the channels and sloughs behind Ocracoke where it was calm.
Also found a school of Red Drum and caught 1 slot sized fish before they got away to the deep water.
Crabbing was excellent.These guys just kept a few for supper but we threw over 2 orange fish baskets of live ones back over board!!!
