Mid Week Rodanthe Report

Sand bars continue to block da fish. Gonna take a real blow to open things up. Rays and 1 small shark caught.

Ate at Captains Table Tues. nite. Donna stopped by couple of times. Busy.
This Capt's favorite eatin hole.

Baited up this AM, only to be chased off the beach by black flies. Even up on top deck at cottage. Beach thin now, early afternoon, guessin flies still there.

Few fireworks out windows on beach last nite. "Visitors" failed attempt at bon fire.

Walked up to Pea Island before sunup. Nothin new, but "visitor" rinsing his new reel in the surf.

Mrs. Capt made plans to head back to the old folks home tomorrow AM.

This the last report till mid Sept from Salvo.
