Monday Rodanthe Report

Limited Internet access this week.

Sand bars pick up about 300 ft. North of pier. Fishin atrocious as in Waves.

Rather bizarre conditions. Tides aren't according to tables and winds not as advertised on Weather Channel. Now says SSW 10 - 15 and it's actually 15 - 25 from NNE.

No one fishin but this Capt.

Great meals at Top Dog and Boardwok South. Boardwalk now has daily specials.

Erosion bad. Beach small and steep.

Beach south really about gone. All visitors on the 2 streets south coming to space front of our place. Bit crowded. "Visitors" cleaner than Waves but also cuttin thru yard and blocking driveway w/ bikes.

Storms last nite not too bad. Lightning pretty bad...cloud to ground.
