Something good you might like it's an old recipe of mine that's been perfected over the years. I don't use ricotta cheese too dry.
Lasagna
1 lb. ground beef
1/4 tsp. minced garlic in the jar
1 tbsp. dried parsley
1 tbsp. dried basil
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1 - 14 oz. can diced tomatoes
2 - 6 oz. cans tomato paste
--------
1 - 10 oz. lasagna noodles
2 - 12 oz. large curd cream style cottage cheese or small curd
2 beaten eggs
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. black pepper
2 tbsp. dried parsley
1/2 cup or more shredded parmesan cheese
1 lb. shredded mozzarelle cheeseBrown meat - mix next 6 ingredients with meat and simmer 30 minutes stirring often. Combine cottage cheese with next 5 ingredients.
In a 13x9x2 pan - spread 2 tbsp. of sauce over bottom of the pan to keep it from sticking. Divide in half and layer noodles, cottage cheese, mozzarelle cheese, sauce. Repeat layers and end with meat sauce on top to keep the cheese from burning.
Place some aluminum foil in the bottom of the oven incase it spills over. Bake at 375 degrees for 30 minutes or 45 minutes if the meat is cold so that all of the cheese melts. Let stand 10 to 15 minutes. Can freeze leftovers.
