The 10 footers will probably cause overwash around high tide in the usual places like at the houses on the north end of Rodanthe maybe 9 or 10 am/pm tomorrow, maybe the beach road on the north end of Kitty Hawk. I don't think it's going to be that bad. Looked like it was getting ready to do something then the wind went dead calm. I was outside came in and noticed I had big skinny mosquitoes all over me. I've been chasing those hungry bastards around the ceiling trying to kill them. Now the wind has picked up some again out of the northwest and has got chilly around 55 degrees. Seems to be more like the weekly cold front.

One lone rider out on the bypass tonight and a bunch of cops, can tell by the tail lights. Late last night there was a constant stream of them going north with their blue lights on, don't know what that was about.
