Cooking Fish on Cedar Planks

I mentioned cooking whole fish in the thread below.
Have you guys heard about cooking Trout or Salmon on Cedar Planks on the Grill? It's more like smoking them , but faster.
I've tried it one time. A friend brought a big fat Rainbow Trout over one weekend. It was probably in the neighborhood of 5-6 pounds when it was alive. It was skinned , headless and gutted , but still had rib and backbones.
We rubbed it inside and out with Salt , Old Bay , and Fresh Ground Pepper. Stuffed the belly with sliced lemons and sprinkled the outside liberally with lemon juice.
Then put it on a Cedar Plank - 1 x 6 is probably too thick , I had an old piece of cedar laying around and planed it down to (whatever looked right at the time) 3/8 or so. I've seen commercially available grilling planks.
I think I cooked it around a half hour or so - just until it flaked.
Pretty tasty with beer.
Anybody ever tried any saltwater fish on a plank?
