weekend

I hope that everyone had a nice weekend and that their holiday weekend was also good. I have heard that the fishing at the beach has been slow. It's the same thing up here on the Roanoke River in Weldon right now, actually very slow. The Striper's have pretty much done their thing and are on their way downstream. I fished for White Perch and only caught 11 keepers of good size. Well I hope everyone is well on the old Salty Board and that those visiting the Outer Banks of North Carolina enjoy our great beach but pay attention to the beach driving regulations and closed areas. Boy this is going to be a very interesting summer at the Outer Banks. I can not imagine coming down there and not driving on the beach to fish in some of my favorite spots.
