It's just the latest excuse to try to privatize the beach north of Corolla with a beach driving permit, it's been going on for awhile. There's some natives that have always lived in Corova but most are former tourists living north of Corolla.

A lot of the aggravation is people getting stuck at the only access ramp, the sand is soft right there and gets tore up at it. They might be able to grade the beach some up at the ramp with gravel and would probably last the summer. Also a bigger more open area would work better like something similar to Ramp 4 at Oregon Inlet.
