Stripers and Swimbaits

Up here on the lake there has been a ton of nice fish caught this spring on swimbaits. Stripers and bass mainly , but I even heard of a few catfish. They've been caught mainly on regular swimbaits from 4-6 inches in several different colors. A few have been caught on Alabama Rigs.

Anybody ever use them? I haven't done much with them except for years ago when we used to troll sassy shad on leadcore line with 1 ounce jigheads.

The new ones are internally weighted and have fancy paint jobs. Wouldn't last long around bluefish , but I think they'd work for a lot of fish.
